Anushka Sharon is an actress and Bollywood actor and producer. She was one of the most well-paid actors and has won many awards for her performance. Anushka Sharma was born on 1st May 1988, Ayodhya from Uttar Pradesh. Her parents were Kumar Sharma & Ashima Sharma. Anushka was the daughter of an officer who had retired. and her mother is a housewife. Karnesh, Anushka Sharma's older brother who served in Merchant Navy is now a filmmaker. Anushka Sharma completed her schooling from Army School, Bangalore and has pursued Bachelor of Arts (B.A) from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. Anushka Sharma holds a Masters of Arts in Economics. Anushka had always wanted to become either journalist or model but never an actor. Anushka Sharma left for Mumbai for the purpose of registering at Elite Model Management and be prepared under the supervision of style consultant Prasad Bidapa. Anushka made her debut as a model in 2017 to model for Wendell Rodricks Les Vamps Show during Lakme Fashion Week. He picked her as his last model from the Spring/Summer 2007 Collection. Anushka has since her Lakme Fashion Week modelling debut has appeared in campaigns by brands such as Fiat Palio Fiat Whisper Nathella Jewelry Silk & Shine Whisper Nathella Jewelry. Anushka started auditioning films as an actor and attended an acting class alongside her career as model. In 2008 Anushka Sharma made her acting debut with the movie Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi opposite Shah Rukh Khan. In her screen test she refused to do an unplanned test and instead took a day to prepare herself. Later, she signed up to film three times together with Yash Raj Films. In the movie, she performed the role of a young girl who was married to a middle age man (the character Shah Rukh Khan is playing). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka played Shahid Kapoor Meiyang Chang and Vir Das in the movie Badmash Company. The film received mixed reviews. Anushka appeared in a film named Band Baaja Baaraat, starring Ranveer in which she portrayed an American Punjabi girl from middle class who sets up her wedding planning business. The movie received a great reception and was a huge success. Anushka has completed her 3-film contract together with Yash Raj Films after Band Baaja Baaraat.
